A teacher’s musical plea: Let it snow.

A Tennessee third grade teacher wrote this clever Adele parody last year. I thought teacher Mary Morris’ performance would strike a chord with Atlanta area teachers this weekend.

A teacher at Rush Strong School in Strawberry Plains, Tenn., Morris scored a viral hit with “Snow,” which is based on the Adele monster hit “Hello.”

In the chorus, Morris belts out a sentiment likely to be well understood by Georgia teachers:  “If it’s gotta be so cold, the least that it can do is snow.”

Thanks to this video, I'm starting my day with a smile. I hope the temperature rises enough to allow the kiddies to venture outside during recess. I wouldn't want any more teachers to lose their minds. :)

Nope.  Didn't want a snow day.  We have a three day weekend coming up in February when my family was planning to travel out of town, and I didn't want to lose it.

Why I could never have been an elementary school teacher.  At least in high school, one group leaves after 50 minutes before another comes in, and your lunch time is your own business, free of students. ;-)
